Vision

We envision a pluralistic and inclusive Philippine society, with progressive views on social participation and political representation, where LGBTs are recognized as productive members of society and important contributors to nation-building.

We aspire for a Philippine legal system that truly upholds the human rights of all and ensures equal opportunity for everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Mission

To support the Philippine LGBT Rights Advocacy Movement through in-depth legal and policy studies focused on developing ideas which will create social changes in the long run.

To ensure that the law and its institutions are not used as instruments of oppression and discrimination, or to further reinforce gender-stereotypes.

To push for a national human rights agenda that is not limited to the few, pre-identified marginalized sectors but is inclusive of the LGBT Sector and with a genuine appreciation for the difficulties and disadvantages experienced by Filipino LGBTs.

Goals

To contribute to the efforts of promoting and protecting LGBT rights through legal mechanisms like policy review and analysis, proposed legal reform measures, as well as legislative advocacy and lobbying.

To develop and popularize sexual orientation law in the Philippines as a legitimate field of expertise by generating sufficient material and providing opportunities for discourse on LGBT issues.

To empower the local LGBT Community by providing them the basic legal knowledge of their rights under the law and familiarize them with the different legal structures and mechanisms.
